Established in January 1998, Xuzhou Heavy Industries Group Co. Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of XCMG Group specializing in the development of piling machinery, non-excavating machinery, and mining machinery. Located at Xuzhou Jinshanqiao Economic Development Zone, the company covers an area of 150mu, and the plant area is 30,000 square meter. The company has a team of about 1,000 employees, among which there are over 100 technicians and hi-tech employees including experts of various levels. The company's business scale is about 1.5 billion RMB, and the main products are horizontal directional drilling rig, rotary drilling rig, coal mine roadheader, and diaphragm wall grab. Multiple products have won national or provincial Prize for Progress in Science and Technology. In 2011, the company passed the certification of Hi-tech Enterprise of Jiangsu Province, and the "large intelligent non-excavating directional drilling rig R&D and industrial production" project was successfully approved as National Torch Plan Project and the company's technology center was entitled as the Construction Machinery Engineering Technology Research Center of Xuzhou City. The company's products have been distributed to about 20 countries in South America, Central Asia and Africa.

As the only large construction machinery manufacturer in the non-excavating industry, XCMG Foundation actively promotes the independent development of highly intelligent horizontal directional drilling rig, and enhances the manufacturing capacity of the products that meet the construction requirements in China. At present, the company has XZ series of horizontal directional drilling rig products ranged from 16t~600t which can meet the requirements of various kinds of non-excavating construction work.

As the first Chinese manufacturer that makes independent development and manufacture of rotary drilling rig products, XCMG always focuses on the development of piling machinery since 1999. The company constantly expand product portfolio to meet the requirements of various work conditions while consolidating its leading position in the rotary drilling rig market. At present, the company's main products include XR series rotary drilling rig with power head torque range of 2.5KN•M ~ 46KN•M and XG series diaphragm wall grab with hoisting capacity of 360~450KN. The company also launched the advanced D series rotary drilling rig which features a single line main hoist, improved operating capacity and extended life of steel wire rope. In 2011, XCMG Foundation exported 70 rotary drilling rigs to Venezuela at one time. The company also developed Asia's largest rotary drilling rig with special chassis, the XR460D.  

As the important project of XCMG Group's "12th Five-Year Plan", EBZ series of roadheader developed by XCMG Group was successfully manufactured by XCMG Foundation in 2011. XCMG is the only enterprise that achieved the R&D, trial production, and official production, and passed mine safety certification and made successful sales in the year 2011. With technological improvement and test in mine, EBZ series roadheader can completely satisfy the tough mining work environment. Now the EBZ series roadheader products include power ranges of135/160/200/260KW.

The company's integrated quality, environment and occupation health and safety management system has passed the ISO9001 certification; multiple products have passed CE certificate, Gost certificate, etc. And the products are widely used in the construction of freeways, railways, bridges, buildings, municipal engineering projects and mining operations, which have won good recognition among customers both at home and abroad.
